Having the best of both worlds is possible with the new 911 Turbo Cariolet. Aside from its sleek appearance, it embodies a fine interpretation of opus 911. Although hated by
Cayenne fans, this new Porsche ride is built to offer finer things to your daily riding experience.
Purists loved to hate the new 911 Turbo for it managed to morph into a refined GT car, more beautiful than the Cayenne. Its reinforced rocker sills and floor pan compensated the structural integrity of the removal of its roof. This feature also complemented the new body shell, which has supported an additional 93 pounds of electrical folding top and rollover-protection hoop components.
The modification done on the new Cabriolet hosted new springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars to improve ride quality. The suspension was configured to be compliant enough to stand up to the rigors of daily driving conditions. Beyond all the changes that were done on 911 Turbo, it successfully maintains elegance by retaining its smooth and humpbacked roof line, with additional cut lines in the original Cabriolet body work. So much for visual clutter, this new lineup from Porsche looks more slabby than svelte.
