Affordable AWDs

Since I have already stirred the hype that surrounds the all-wheel drive vehicles, I have been thinking about my rear-wheel drive car. Since the advantages of having an AWD is quite overwhelming, the decision whether I would keep my car or have it traded for an AWD has become my personal struggles these days. And since I am quite in such a dilemma, I have come across a site where the most affordable 2008 AWDs were featured. And so curiosity won and I have leaved through the catalog. Here are some of the things that I’ve found out:

The 2008 Suzuki SX4 crossover. I was very familiar about this ride since I have already featured it in my AWD discussions. Aside from being fun to drive, this five-door compact is showcasing an intelligent AWD feature (i-AWD). The device allows this vehicle to be driven in three modes: the FWD, AWD and the AWD lock modes. These modes are especially designed to allow the vehicle to adapt to various driving conditions. As a result, more controlled driving and improved car maneuverability will be enjoyed.

For this 2008 SX4 version, Bluetooth connectivity is integrated with its modern driving amenities.

Another discovery is the all-new 2008 Saturn Vue

Among other AWDs, Saturn Vue is classified as a midsize CUV. This lineup is Saturn’s new entry for the 2008 sports exterior styling. The revamped Saturn touches on car styling is evident on the sculpted and clean look of the jeweled headlamps and upward sweeping lines of its roof. Aside from streamlining purposes, the unique aerodynamic profile of this vehicle is available in XE and XR trim levels. Also, Saturn Vue is available in Saturn’s newly developed Green Line hybrid vehicles. These vehicles are run by electricity, sporting a 2.2-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine worth 169 hp for the XE AWD trim and Vue XE AWD uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 222 hp. Its advanced traction control system (TCS) allows the driver to enjoy more controlled and safer driving.

Admit it, the advantages of all-wheel drive (AWD) delivers a compelling argument on the primary considerations in the application of AWD technology. Hence, this feature has become one of the essential aspects that buyers must look out when they are to select a new vehicle. Of course, the dynamic traction that is delivered by AWDs is helpful in managing any driving conditions.

I will try to complete these AWD profiling on my next blogs.
